First of...the UBB is the most generic board next to Matt's Board. Right, that's what I'm saying. It's a good cgi system, but come on, do you really think it's easy to navigate around that shit, quoting to a post that is like 5-9 posts up out of 30 in that thread? Actually, it's a big pile of shit if you ask me :). If I'm not mistaken, UBB still uses flat text files as a backend as opposed to a database, making it very limiting. I'm in the process of developing forum using PHP and MySQL, we’ll see how goes.. You have to admit that at least the board setup here is quite easier. Both sides have their advantaged. I like the 'conversation friendly' feel of the UBB, ie hot threads stay near the top. This style of forum has it's advantages too though, such as being able to see all of the replies in a thread before clicking on a topic. And hey we own the jungle gym. Why so much hatred towards tt.net loop? you yourself own a Z and I have read what you wrote on your own site. Does owning a Supra give you more brains? Kinda like rice stickers = more Hp? Let me clarify a few things. First of all, I don't hate tt.net. As a developer, I appreciate and have all the respect in the world for Greg because he developed this thing on his own time for no financial gain. I also think the forum was/is revolutionary and set a lot of standards (ie who is currently online). The problem I have is with the constant bitching and double standards the majority of the users here have. People here cannot be reasoned with, so I choose to be an arrogant, condescending, obnoxious prick towards them. It seems to drive the point home fine. As for me having more brains when I have a Supra, I don't know what gave you that impression. I'm just a regular guy with a semi-nice car. If/when I have a supra, I'll be a regular guy with a semi-nice/fast car. I won't change my attitude towards anyone.
